How to pull and schedule reports

Overview

  • Report Builder helps users and clients generate custom reports and automate them to be sent to different email addresses.

    • Tip: This tool is best used for Automated reports that need to be sent Daily/Weekly to clients or reporting tools.

Generate a Report

  • Navigate to Report Builder in the side menu

  • Pick a date range for the report

  • Add Filters

    • Select / Advertiser / Campaign

      • TUP: For a specific campaign, choose the advertiser to get a list of campaigns associated with that advertiser

    • Click Add Filter

  • Pick Dimensions

    • The User can pick multiple dimensions

    • Click Add Dimensions

  • Pick Metrics

    • User can pick a list of Metrics to pull

    • Click Add Metrics

  • Check Reporting Data Preview to confirm report set up

    • TIP: The User can check CSV headers and how they will look

    • TIP: The user can go back to Dimensions and Metrics to add/modify/remove any

  • Click Generate Report

  • Report will be generated under Generated Reports

    • Once the Report is ready, the user can click Download Report

      • TIP: Hit the Refresh button if you do not see your report.

      • TIP: If Status = Failed, that means metrics or dimensions are not available yet

  • The user can save the report as a Template to use again as needed

    • Click on Save as Template

  • The user can schedule the report to be sent through Email

    • Click on Schedule Report

    • Input Report Name

      • TIP: This is what the receiver will get; use a clear naming convention

    • Choose Interval

      • Daily

      • Weekly

      • Monthly

    • Choose Date and Time to start sending reports

    • Input email(s) that you want to send reports to

    • Click Confirm

      • TIP: The User can view Scheduled Reports under the Scheduled Reports section
