Campaign Insertion Order Setup

To set up a campaign, you will need to gather the information needed to be sent over to the AdSultans support team to build it out.

This can be done by filling out the AdSultans Insertion Order Template and then sending it to [email protected]

Below is a guide on what information is needed and how to send it over for a quick turnaround:

  • Download the Insertion Order Template

  • Add the Advertiser Name

    • TIP: Make sure to list the name clearly as you want to see it in the platform

  • Add the Advertiser Domain

  • Add Campaign Name

    • We recommend using unique identifiers for campaign names to differentiate

      • Example: Johns Pizza - Awareness - June/2025 - Gold

  • Add Sales Partner / Agency

    • This is the name of your agency to associate the campaign with it

  • Fill in the Line item names

    • We recommend using the product name and any other unique identifier to differentiate

      • Example:

        • Johns Pizza - Gold - New York - May

        • Johns Pizza - Gold - New York - June

        • Johns Pizza - Gold - New York - July...etc

    • TIP: This ensures clean and easy reporting for clients

  • List the Products you want to use for each line item

    • These are shared with you in the rate card, please reference that for product names

  • Choose what KPI you want for this campaign to help us set it up to deliver that goal

    • Option 1 is Brand Awareness, this KPI is focused on reach and frequency to make sure we deliver the ad to as many new viewers as possible

    • Option 2 is Drive Conversions, this means we will push to deliver as much impressions as possible to possible converting users we identify.

  • Start and End date of each line item

  • Audience Targeting: List keywords of what audiences you want to reach

  • Device Type: Choose if you want to deliver on a specific device

  • Geo Targeting: list here the geographic targeting needed for each line item.

    • This can be any combination of State - County - Metro Area - Cities - Zip Codes

  • Product CPM: List here the agreed upon CPM rate for the product

  • Budget: Total budget amount for each line item in USD

  • Impression Goal: Number of impressions based on Product CPM and Budget.

    • Formula to calculate Impressions: (BUDGET / PRODUCT CPM) X 1000

      • Example

        • Product CPM = 10

        • Budget = $1000

        • Impressions = (1000/10)x1000 = 10,000 Imps

  • Add Creatives: we recommend using Google Drive or any other file sharing service to drop the creatives under the creatives tab for easy sharing.

    • Make sure to add in any URL or landing pages for these creatives

Now that you have filled out the IO, you can simply send that over to [email protected] to get it set up!
